In 2006, the Bavarian government announced that it will continue its successful measures to strengthen the potentials of economy and science within the framework of the Cluster-Offensive Bayern. This campaign aims at strengthening the competitive edge of Bavarian companies. Therefore 19 technology fields were chosen, among these the environmental technology.
The Umweltcluster Bayern's objective is to support companies in the field of environmental technology with the development, production and marketing of their products and services. Therefore the Cluster offers a platform to enable co-operation between companies and research centres. This facilitates a nationwide consolidation of potentials for practice, science and research in the field of environmental technology and strengthens the competitive edge within the Bavaria. |
